Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa and Eastern Europe.

Job summary

​To collect, manage, and process clinic data, ensure accurate data entry, reporting and contribute to maintaining data quality and confidentiality in line with clinic requirements and M&E guidelines.

Key Deliverables

1.     Timely collection of data at COE and different wards at Mulago NRH and entry in EMR system

2.     Support compilation and submission of periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) from source registers and electronic data bases at the clinic.

3.     Conduct regular data cleaning and validation to identify and rectify inconsistencies, missing data, and errors, ensuring that the data is reliable and can be used for decision-making.

4.     Support records management through filing, retrieval and archival of patient records at Baylor COE clinic

5.     Build capacity of staff in data collection and capture in EMR systems though training and mentorship.

6.     Maintain strict adherence to data privacy policies, ensuring the security of sensitive patient data and compliance with national and international standards.

7.     Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Diploma in Records Management, Computer Science, IT or another related field.
  • Work experience of at least 1 year experience in managing HIV data.
  • 1 Years Relevant Experience
