Airtel Tanzania PLC wishes to recruit for a Credit Control Executive. The role reports to the Billing Collection & Retention Manager in Customer Experience Department. The Incumbent will be responsible to assist in debts and revenue collections of all transactions resulting from post paid activities.

The Role Holder duties will include but not limited to:
1.Debt & Revenue & Collection
  • Assist distribution of invoices to customers
  • Make through follow-up of due debts and collection of outstanding balances
  • Assist in ensuring that all payments are timely reported for consolidation in the billing system
  • Ensuring all manual top up process is thoroughly executed i.e invoicing ,crediting and collection follow up.
  • prepare and follow up documents related to unpaid monies
  • Ensure Timely Payment to our vendors
  • Extract information from the system and prepare reconciliation statements
  • Make thorough follow up daily on HUR/Roaming report from RA and IT

2.Maintain Customer Relationship

  • To maintain a high level of service to customers whilst maximizing collections and exceeding target

3.Airtel Ambassador

  • Act as Airtel’s ambassador in preserving company’s corporate image and remit any information necessary for customer retention and acquisition

Academic and Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or any other Related
  • At least 3 years experience in credit control or financial accounting of a dynamic business industry, preferably telecoms or banking sector
  • Sound Knowledge of the Computer IT Administration software especially sun Accounting System and Excel
  • Good administrative and proficiency in Ms Office (Excel, Power point, Word)
  • Aggressive and Able to influence
  • Ability to establish relationships with decision makers to increase collections
  • High level of communications and negotiation skills.
